Edmonton Humane Society’s week-long summer camps this July & August are the purr-fect way to make memories and learn more about animals. Youth will learn about animals, their welfare, what they do at EHS and how to be a caring companion to animals in their world. These camps are a kid-favourite in our house!

Free Cafe Play and Toy Library. The Play Café runs every Thursday morning at Edmonton Temple from 10-12 p.m. Guardians with children six-years-old and under are welcome to drop in and enjoy tea or coffee while their little ones play with a variety of age-appropriate toys. Snacks are also available.
Try this FREE Outdoor Risky Play group. Parents and caregivers are welcome to bring their little ones who have started walking up until 4 years old to explore risky play together. We'll do outdoor obstacles, play in the park, and explore natures playground!
Free Art Hive at Art Gallery of Alberta. Come and join the ART GALLERY OF ALBERTA for the community art marking initiative Art Hive! It's free and open to all, every Thursday from 12 to 2 p.m.

Free Home Depot Kids Workshop: Build a Planter. Join Home Depot at 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. the second Saturday of each month for a Kids Workshops. Kids can learn how to build their very own Globe Planter.
Heritage Precinct is hosting an Easter Fun Event! Enjoy FREE games, crafts, face painting, and a scavenger hunt! Lots of festive fun for the whole family! There will also be access to our wonderful exhibit about the North-West Mounted Police and their contributions to the history of Fort Saskatchewan.
FREE Make your own theme song at this kid-friendly coding workshop. Create a theme song for a favourite show, book or game using GarageBand on iPad. We’ll cover rhythm basics and kids will experiment with drums, add prerecorded loops and remix their theme song. Bring your iPad or we’ll provide one. Recommended for ages 8–12.
Spring Fest at Manning Town Center. This year, enjoy roaming performers, airbrush tattoos, balloon twisting, more games than ever before, and, of course, free samples and giveaways!
Catch a kid-friendly Improv Show. Rapid Fire Theatre's hilarious performers create this entire show right off the top of their heads, but in order to pull it off we're going to need help from all the kids in the audience. In this show kids are invited to shout out and participate.
Try Orienteering at City of Edmonton Play Rangers. City of Edmonton Play Rangers is a free weekly drop in program with instructor led activities, for all ages of children and the whole family.
Take a kid-friendly coding workshop - for FREE. Learn to Code your First App. Code and create as a family with Swift Playground using iPad. Kids will experiment with code and design an app using the About Me playground. They’ll use Swift code to customize their app with fun fonts, background colours, emoji and more. Then you’ll work together to bring their app to life. Recommended for kids ages 10 and up. Devices will be provided.
